I just spoke to Bugaboo and they told me that they do not sell to this merchant and they are not an authorized seller!!!
That doesn't make them a scam. They might be reselling from a different company that buys from bugaboo.

ReplyDeleteAlso, just because someone is not an authorized dealer does not mean that they are not legit! The reason they are not authorized dealers is because if you are one, then you have to sell at retail price. You can never sell below retail price. Also, many manufacturers don't allow their products to be sold online so the only way to do that is to not be an authorized dealer! I'm sure none of us have problems walking into Jewish stores and buying Chi irons, Bugaboos, and whatnots from non-authorized dealers.

ReplyDeleteand other people have said that they never got their orders just got their cc charged a couple of times!
well you can solve problem one by using livechat and problem two by checkout out with Google Checkout. that way, you cc is never available to them.
ReplyDeleteBugaboo sells to authorized dealers only, who get a huge discount because they buy in bulk. Therefore these AD's can offer distributors better prices.

ReplyDeleteOnce people get their orders, I guess we can see if they're legit or not. Like someone posted previously, many stores are not authorized dealers, therefore they can offer you merchandise at lower prices. Seems a bit shady, but I guess the truth will surface sooner than later!
ReplyDeleteGuess what - the orders placed yesterday using that promo code were cancelled. Sooo... this tells me that the site is a legit, normal company that made a promo mistake and couldn't carry through. Had they been shady, they'd just charge ur cc and then walk away.
